Well I didn’t win the lottery, can’t even remember when I last won a tenner !

Today has been one of those days, you know the ones, you start with good intentions and then it all goes pear shaped, and then to cap it all I got very excited when I bought a brand new shower curtain in lemon via a well known online auction site, thought it would look good. Glyn comes home and says ‘you did buy two didn’t you’ – hoping tomorrow goes better.

One of the hens is a bit off colour, just put them away so fingers crossed it might just be all the rain we’ve had again today, getting fed up of it now, it’s August for goodness sake.

One bit of good news I’ve had is I’ve been asked to work at the Droitwich Salt Festival in September so chuffed about that, and I did mention in my last blog that I can announce what I’ll be doing for a bit come next week, well, I’ve been asked to help get going a brand new digital radio station in Staffordshire and Cheshire alongside Glyn and a lot of the old Radio Stoke gang who I use to work with, so it’s exciting., should be on air next month but no date as yet. You’ll be able to hear it on line and when they pay the bill, eventually on Freeview, I’ll tell you more as we get a little closer.

Off to see about the Highland Cows on Wednesday as it looks like it’s going ahead so that’s something to look forward to, and off to a Christening this weekend – don’t need a hat do I?
