Sunday 14 September
Walking a bit like John Wayne today, seem to have done myself a mischief, think it's something to do with us living on a hill!
Had a good day in Droitwich yesterday, and thank you to all those who kindly came up and said hello. I was hosting the Heart of England Fine Foods Cookery Theatre at the towns salt festival and a met some super people. Thank you to the organisers for inviting me and as always Jon and Bonnie from HEFF for looking after me, think I may have convinced Jon to take on a few ex battery hens so a good day all round!
Had a surprise visit on Friday evening from pals in Cheshire and you'd be very proud of me as I knocked up a main course, pudding and a cake, mind you my hair was everywhere, the kitchen looked like a tip and having seen two of the ladies take to the stage yesterday and cook in front of a crowd, under pressure whilst wearing lipstick, it appears I have a long way to go.
Heard news that my Libby is now a sister to five brothers and five sisters. The lady who bred her for me has repeated the mating and wants us to send some pictures of Libby to show prospective new owners how they may turn out, best not send the ones where she's been eating my shoes, trying to sit on the settee with me or indeed walking around with items of underwear that I'm sure I put in the wash basket.
Busy week this week, I'm chatting to the boys and girls at Tenbury British Legion and on Thursday hosting an award ceremony with special guest Sharron Davies - bet she'll have her lippy on.
