Monday 16 March
It's funny isn't how things work out, this time last week I was going for a job in Radio which would have seen me back on the airwaves in Herefordshire, now seven days on I've hung up my headphones and beginning my fourth career change, in less than twenty four hours I'm officially going to become a freelance writer! with my first job tomorrow working for a National Farming Publication. Needless to say I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time, and a new challenge which keeps the grey matter working I guess.
Away from work and the frogs are still busy in the pond nearest the house and I've seen toad spawn in the other, and just looking out at a Blackbird carrying nesting material, well trying anyway, what she has is a little big and looking like John Sargent in his Strictly Come Dancing Days!
Gorgeous though isn't it, love the Sunshine and have to say yet again the conversation keeps turning to us heading to Cyprus which is very tempting, but like before when I couldn't move because we'd just bought some new curtains, how can I leave my hens and cows? I have said if Glyn gets a full time job over there I will go with him and he's looking, so we'll see.
We did a Car Boot yesterday which was okay, although it always means such early starts. Met some nice people and shifted quite a bit which is good. One lady must have thought we were professional as she asked if we were going to be there next week as well!
Busy week ahead then, thank goodness I've had my roots done and here's to a fresh start - do I have to wear one of those long trench coats now?
