Can you believe it, I'm sitting at home this morning behind a microphone ready to record an interview with award winning author Geraldine Brooks. It's a very strange feeling, I'm upstairs looking out at the fields draped in sunshine thinking I need to clean the windows, and wondering whether to put my shoes on as it might make me feel more like I'm working even though I am! Glyn says this is the future, but has anyone told the dogs, lets hope Dave the postie doesn't arrive!
Speaking of the old fella, he turned fifty on Monday and ever since has had the most awful cough so neither of us have slept very well, and very early this morning I ended up going in the spare room. Had a nice day though for his birthday, we went walking with the girls on Long Mynd, mind you I ended up doing myself a mischief in some gorse so we're a right pair.
Got up close and personel with Worcester Warriors player Callum Black on Tuesday night as I hosted 'Worcester College of Technology Apprentice Awards' at Sixways. Lovely chap, plays Prop and will be heading to Romania this weekend to play in the European Challenge Cup so wish him and the boys well.
Not long to go before we're on air, less then three weeks now and getting very excited, just hope I'll remember what to do. Thank you for your emails wishing us well, and it looks like I'm now up to twenty five listeners who have promised to tune in which is fantastic!
Look at the time, best go and put my shoes on.
