Sunday 19 April
Wow, what a gorgeous weekend with the weather, lots of gardening done and dog walking but a bit hot to fertilise the other half of the field so you know what I'll be doing first thing tomorrow!
Been a good week, my pal and her children came over, we sold one of our hen houses which we no longer use and whether it's my age, but I found myself sending a few Kit Kats back because they didn't have enough chocolate on them - I tell you, when it's only one hundred and seven calories, you want every single one of them - I'll let you know how I get on.
Good luck to my mate Ange Tidmarsh who is the driving force behind the Asparagus events in Wychavon. Had an invite to go along this Thursday but I might have to be elsewhere but a great day planned so here's to Worcestershire being on the tele, I know 'The One Show' were interested amongst many others. Is it me, or am I the only one to notice that Adrian Chiles could be John Sergeants love child?
We got up to watch the Grand Prix this morning, good to see Jenson again on the podium (still not sure about his beard though) and things looking up for Lewis. Will be strange to see next Sundays race at it's in Bahrain where Glyn and I were last year for his big birthday, wonder who'll be sitting where we were.
Couple more events I've been booked to compere this year, soon as I have them in writing I'll put them in the diary and if you happen to be there, please come and say hello especially as I read something very bizarre about me last week. I had a letter forwarded from BBC Hereford & Worcester from a lady who was sorry to hear I'd had a nervous breakdown! no wonder people keep saying I look well if that's what they're telling them.
Here's to more sunshine, and think of me tomorrow as I make my way up and down hill with a bucket flinging fertiliser here and there, reminds me, where did I put my rubber gloves?
