Friday 1 May

White rabbits and all that, mind you we've got enough of the brown ones to be going on with. Lots happening wildlife wise, birds leaving home, others just setting up, spotted bats above the hen house the other night and I've a new little friend in the shape of a baby Robin.
A week today I'll be heading to the Spring Show at Malvern for the duration so if you're there, do come and say hello. I'm going to be in the brand new Cookery Theatre with Felice the chef who does make the most gorgeous sprout cake and it doesn't give you wind!
I've just come in from gardening and left Glyn outside painting the garage door, we've gone for 'stone' so really lightened things up.
We took time out yesterday and had lunch in Leominster which featured a fabulous lemon meringue pie, think I got away with it as I walked a little faster when I took the girls out. Popped to Titley and came back via Presteigne which is where we nearly moved to so funny to go back around there after seven years.
Just looking out of the window and a Deer has just come into view, beats the tele anytime apart from George Clooney back for one episode in ER.
Not alot else to report other than it's my birthday tomorrow, and having been asked by two of my closest pals 'how old are you this year?' I've decided to work backwards, it worked for my Mum, she was forty nine for years.
What ever you're upto have a good bank holiday weekend and here's to being thirty nine for the fifth time!
