Lots to catch up on and I guess the latest is the three new additions to Hedgebottom in the form of little pedigree Lleyn lambs. It wasn't planned as if I'd wanted sheep I would have chosen Ryelands or Shropshire as a breed, but I came across these three when I was working at this years Countrytastic Show at Malvern, and having spent all day with them whilst they were being handled by the children they had an effect on me! Anyway, they're here now and growing quickly, my only problem is pronouncing Lleyn, one of my pals is Welsh and she has tried to teach me, but the problem lies in my tongue, apparently it won't do 'th'. I made the paper though, this picture taken by Worcester News*.

Did a speaking gig last night which was fun, the first ever Women in Food & Farming group for Herefordshire. It was a bit warm where we were inside though, hoping it was the heating and not me hitting that age as I'm not ready!

What a fantastic week we've had with the sunshine, at long last our grass has begun to grow in the field, still feeding the cows a little hay just to allow the field a bit of a head start, but it won't be long before we send them off to the bull and their holidays for a couple of months, no doubt our neighbours and passers by will think we've eaten them.

This month sees us heading to Manchester to see Peter Kay and just bought our tickets for the fabulous Rob Brydon too who is coming to Hay in May, lots of laughter, love it.
