Glyn did something for me last night which was a total surprise!
We'd come back from painting the studios and I don't know about you but paint fumes make me feel a bit weird after a while so didn't feel 100%, anyway, went and took the girls for a walk, sorted the cows out so the only thing to do when it got dark was put the hens away - that's when I got my surprise! He'd rigged up an outside light for me so we were illuminated which was fantastic, except I fell over whilst going up the hill and then preceded to come back down it again on my front collecting dirt and you know what all the way down! Glyn did say that at least I could see I was falling over!
Work things, and pleased to report that Gloria Hunniford will be a guest on my show in November as part of my feature 'Woman 2 Woman' where we will get to hear incredible stories from women all over the world, so hope you'll join me for that. Also with work in mind, tomorrow we're at a panto launch - oh yes we are - with Claire Sweeney and Jonathan Wilkes so that'll be fun, and you'll get to hear all about that on the programme as well which is now less than two weeks away.
Away from work, I finally got to see Libby's brothers and sisters before they leave for their new homes, luckily they were all promised because I don't think you can get a prettier puppy than a Golden Retriever! Cows and hens fine, and all now registered with Defra who I seem to be chatting with a lot of late and that's just for two cows and seven hens, imagine the paperwork with more. That's one thing that has changed since I was in Agriculture and you have to question whether it's gone too far seeing as criminals get lost in the system but I'm not allowed to move my two cows off the property without a passport!
Off now under my spotlight, it's everso bright, I may have to do a turn!
