Happy New Year, and how many resolutions have gone out the window already?!

Hope you had a good one, change of tack this year as for the past so many we've seen them in and ended up not having the best of years so went to bed early, slept right through and here we are in 2009 and so far so good!

It's been cold hasn't it, we even had to resort to water butts yesterday to get it to the cows as everything frozen, we've been here nearly seven years and it's never been this bad - beautiful though with everything covered white over, watched from the lounge a male Bullfinch and with his colouring he looked stunning against the backdrop.

I've discovered the hens like warm porridge so that's been a treat for them, and I've been up and down that hill so many times my inner thigh should be more than firm!

Glyn's Mum and Dad were over for New Year which was nice but think our stairs have been tough for them as it's all on one floor where they are, bet they sleep well when they get home.

Off to work in a bit so another hour or so in the car, least I get to listen to some of my CD's and at the moment I'm having my very own eighties revival, don't worry, it won't extend to a perm.
