Huge thank you to all those who came and said hello yesterday at The Autumn Show in Malvern, was great to see you and looking forward to catching up again when we start broadcasting on focalradio.com

Had the privilege of hosting the 'Plot to Pot' marquee with special guests 'The Big Chef' Peter Osbourne and the new face of 'Gardeners World' Toby Buckland - what super people, and you'll be able to hear interviews with both of them when we get going. I love working at the Three Counties Showground, especially with Nina and Sharon and I'm delighted to say I've been asked to be there again for the prestigious Spring Gardening Show next May so maybe see you there.

Been a good weekend weather wise, just put the hens away and already it's changing, raining now and yes, the heating is on.

Saturday managed to pick enough blackberries for our second crumble in as many weeks, had my roots done so feel human again, and then Sunday was Malvern and seeing my pal Anton leave Strictly Come Dancing - we'll just have to keep seeing him in that condom suit he wears in 'Hole in the Wall' - makes you wonder where he keeps his keys!

 

Back on tour this week as today Glyn, Sam and I were in Newcastle Under Lyme telling everybody all about Focal Radio. Tell you what, some trendy people in that town especially the ladies and certainly given me a few ideas for a feature in the afternoon so looking forward to saying hello again to both old friends and new.
