Monday 2 February

Well we've definitely had snow today and it's still coming down. Poor old hens not enjoying it, Ruby the cow could at least see it following her trim and the girls love it with a never ending supply of snow balls. One thing I'd say is that if we ever move, I shall never live at the bottom of a hill again not when everything else is at the top! I've got that many bruises and if anyone is watching it must look like I'm learning how to walk,
Been a busy couple of days which is nice. I was proud to be asked to officially open Martins Toys in Leominster on saturday. Annie and Martin have been in the town for twenty two years in two seperate shops and are now operating out of a very large one and it is fab. I wish them all the luck and here's to the next twenty two years. Judging by the amount of people who came through the door in the hour I was there, I reckon they're going to be okay. Lovely couple with the most amazing family and friends who have helped and supported them in the move. Great to have a good news story isn't it amongst everything we hear and see. Must say it was lovely to catch up with some listeners who came to say hello and I do miss them.
It was nice not to have to worry about going into work today, not that we'd have been able to, but was good to just enjoy it. We're off for a little while so just nice to spend time at home for a change.
By the way, Libby has gone onto 'You Tube' today with her own version of Creature Comforts! Guaranteed to make you smile, bit like my walking in the snow which looks like I'll be doing again tomorrow.
