Tuesday 2 February
Been a busy start to the year, so much so I can't believe we're into February already.
Took my Sister to see Strictly Come Dancing for her Christmas present and we were on the very front row, three feet from the dancers. So close you could see who hadn't de fuzzed properly! Fantastic time, and capped off very nicely when she was kissed by the rather gorgeous Mark Ramprakash.
Cows are in the woodland at the moment due to the fields being so wet, I've never known it so wet, and so to save their grazing for the summer we have to lose some of the snowdrops and daffodils where they are now, but they'll bounce back next year. Staying with outside, Glyn has been capturing some great stuff on his camera, from Muntjac deer to the cows snow racing.
Hens are doing okay, think they were glad to see the landscape coloured in once more. Had a couple of them needing a little extra help in the cold with a couple of warm baths and a night or two on the Rayburn.
Really enjoying writing my column for Herefordshire and Shropshire Life, love the cartoons they come up with, especially when they portray me as a size 12!
