Wednesday 30 July
As I'm writing this, I can see a couple of cows out the window, that's the beauty of living next door to a dairy farm, you get the sounds and smells but not the work. Having said that, they're a dying breed dairy farmers, and the way it is going the government needs to do something about it and quickly.
Glyn has been at The National Sheep Show at Malvern today doing a 'Ready Steady Cook' type event - gather a good turn out too which is nice to hear and as for the weather for those waiting to combine, it doesn't look good does it.
As for me I've been busy - you know what it's like girls, when he's gone you can do things! Started on the garage this morning, what a load of junk we keep don't we. Thing is you start okay sorting everything out, and then time goes on and you're surrounded by piles of stuff which then just end up being put back where they came from! I need to do a car boot but sadly where we are, not many of them.
Hen update-we've had six eggs again. Job front-a couple of offers have come in which is exciting.
Received some more lovely messages from former listeners, and you never know, they may be able to listen again soon!
