Spooky goings on this end! Long story short, coming home yesterday and running towards me injured was a lamb. Got home went to look for it, no sign, did another search later on and nothing. Obviously played on my mind as I dreamt about it last night and what do I see sitting by our gate this morning but the very same lamb! Looks like it has been got at by a dog but hopefully with treatment it will be okay, now back with the farmer so fingers crossed.

Don't know about you but looking a bit baggy this end what with the weather, and how they've managed to play tennis in it I'll never know, and on that note, good luck to Andy Murray.

Had a super time at Shobdon Food Festival, and yet again picking up a few handy tips and hints from the Cooks and Chefs demonstrating, met Chrissie who runs cookery courses from her home, four people in her kitchen at a time - couldn't do that here, they'd have to take it in turns! Also the boys from The Riverside Inn at Aymestrey and The Stagg Inn at Titley gave their time and expertise and what was nice compared to alot of food shows is that everybody got to taste it.

End of an era next week as we head to The Royal Show, I reckon it'll go out with a bang.
