I've finally managed to pull myself away from the cows! have to say they look fabulous and it's been lovely showing the neighbours them, especially the youngsters. I now have my first bruise of many I imagine, only thing with horns, you don't always get out of the way when they turn their heads - no malice at all just part of their headgear.
Poor old Glyn must wonder what's he's got himself into but he's been helping which is really good and I do appreciate it. We got very excited on Saturday as one of the hens who has been lame since we first got her laid her first egg for us. She was bullied by the others so has been on her own ever since so we've become quite attached to her, and with her now producing that means all seven are - omelette anyone?

Been a busy one today, securing yet another attractive man for the programme, and actor Leslie Grantham is due to join me on the show too and he is a real flirt I tell you, so we'll see if he's on form when he joins me on November 5.
Speaking of flirts, I do get the feeling that my pal Anton Du Beke is being groomed to take over from Brucie in Strictly Come Dancing. What with his cookery show and jumping around in his condom suit I reckon it's only a matter of time. Hoping to get Anton down to do a spot of dancing with us and I'll let you know how I get on and how you can be involved soon as I know more.
Still receiving some lovely comments via my email so thank you for those, and not long to go now before we can start chatting again on the radio. With that in mind, it's all going as our studios are being built from scratch. It's exciting being part of something brand new, working with great people who care and respect each other. Sat in my new studio today and the best thing about it is that it has a window, and as the sun shone onto the many cardboard boxes still yet to unveil their treasure I thought to myself 'this is going to be fun' and it will be.

Looking forward to tomorrow too as I'm out and about at The Deer Park Hall in Eckington. I'm hosting an event to showcase the wonderful market town of Pershore so that'll be good and it's smart casual so just off to pop my trousers in the washer - speak soon x
