Four weeks today and we'll be chatting to each other again, can't wait.
Met one of my guests today as I went to pre record a piece with a lady who has designed a mastectomy nightdress. Tell you more about that when we're on air, but a fantastic story and a wonderful woman, and there'll be a lot of those on the show.
Paid my first visit to Deer Park Hall in Eckington yesterday, wow, what a place. I was hosting an event to celebrate Pershore Market Town Partnership ( thank goodness they added the partnership bit as otherwise I'd have been mentioning PMT all afternoon!). Met some smashing people and thank you to Hilary from the town for inviting me. Did make me smile though as the magazine 'Worcestershire Life' were there, and in my nine years with the BBC not once did I make it in to their publication, would you believe it, I leave Hereford & Worcester and they take my picture! question is though, will I make it to print?!
What a gorgeous day it's been, walked the girls for a couple of miles in the sunshine, was followed by fifteen sheep for what seemed ages and seemed to have my own fly past by the RAF who have spent six hours flying low over Hedgebottom today.
Cows and hens doing well, and it was nice to see the neighbours dairy cows back by the garden today and our two Highlands competing for the loudest moo as they hadn't heard them before.
Glass of wine tonight with my favourite Desperate Housewives I reckon, that's if I can keep awake after all the fresh air.
